PIMSAT website hacked

PIMSAT website has been hacked by Indians and they have left the following message:

We are the Indian Cyber Warriors.
A message to the PCA : We did not start this, you started this by abusing our motherland and By making PORN profiles of Innocent Indian girls on ORKUT.We were never dead,we have risen, risen to unleash HELL upon you.If you don't stop this,We will paralyse your Economy and IT Infrastucture.
A message to Pakistani Government : Stop playing proxy wars,If you have guts, face our mighty Indian Army. Kashmir is ours, We will not let our Bharat Mata balkanized. This is a reply for the Mumbai Terror Attack, which was funded by you.

Vande Mataram !

As I mentioned earlier, this is not going to be stopped that easily and serious measures should be taken not only to solve it but also not to let it happen again in future.

Violence against women

I discussed in my earlier post about domestic violence, marriages with Quarn and sexual harassment, I have just read the update at http://www.jang.com.pk/jang/nov2008-daily/29-11-2008/update.htm#79 about a much awaited step. I not only appreciate but also support this step. Lets hope for having something concrete about it. fingers crossed for Tauqeer Fatima

Killing people for satisfaction

Isn't it amazing when we call ourselves human beings. Killings in Karachi have compelled me to think about our values as Muslims. We kill people because of differences like language, casts, cultures, status, beliefs and family background. Being a Muslim we say that Muslims are brothers and there are no differences in our religion but when it comes to our practices, we just follow our politicians who are all exposed but even we are happy to live in this denial phase. Several people have been killed today to show the retaliation and nobody knows the basis of all these happenings. We all are living in stone ages where values are made for self satisfaction, where laws are made to escape and give a respectable way to all culprits, where illiterate Parliamentarians make and amend constitutions.

Do we have any responsibility towards our society. Do we have this judgmental approach to transfer to our next generations.

Poverty and hunger

Poverty in Pakistan has touched its highest level and people who were already compromising on their status have started losing their dignity now. Committing suicide of hunger has become a very ordinary incident that nobody bothers to think about the problems and circumstances these people go through. A person commits suicide when hopelessness overshadows his life and he finds no place, space or worth for him. People offering their children to Edhi houses is not anymore a shocking news for us. Do we think for a while of a mother who opts to depart her children just because she can not afford the expenses of their food. In a country where more than twenty six percent of people are living below the poverty line (more than a quarter), where women are disgraced in each and every part under the protection of law enforcing agencies, where women are killed for so called honor, where a woman is thrown in front of dogs, where women are exploited daily on roads by masses with their comments or remarks and where women are forced to enter into marriage with Quran, we kill and be killed on the name of religion. Isn't it the biggest crime to bring dishonor to religion by potraying it as if it is just for the male community which allows them to rule on earth with their all non sense. Islam is the religion that gives the due rights to women and which has given the dignity to women but what are we doing. should we hope and wait for someone to come and correct us.

Hope is always there

No matter what but hope is always there. This is the reason to live and let other individuals come to this world. Can an individual bring a change? This is a question that comes into my mind when i see anybody who is deprived or under served. I feel that if an individual can not bring a change, he/she certainly can act as a catalyst to accelerate the pace of any movement towards change.

How should a change be?
